Purpose and Objective
A. To act and operate exclusively as a nonprofit corporation pursuant to the laws of the State of California and to act and operate as a charitable organization in lessening the burdens of government, providing relief of the poor and distressed or under-privileged, and promoting social welfare by reducing unemployment through educational and economic development.
B. To engage in any and all other lawful purposes, activities and pursuits, which are substantially similar to the foregoing and which are or may hereafter be authorized by Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are consistent with those powers described in the California Nonprofit Corporations Code, as amended and supplemented.

E. To promote educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
F. To promote a better understanding amongst people of Puerto Rican descent and people of all nationalities and races.
G. To promote and cultivate the Puerto Rican culture, and to promote cultural activities amongst its members and the community.
H. To provide educational scholarship awards to deserving students.

Since 2003, Fiestalegre Promotions, Inc. has proudly brought the Día de San Juan Festival to Long Beach, sharing the vibrant Puerto Rican spirit with the Southern California community.

The Puerto Rican Association of Long Beach is a major sponsor of the Día de San Juan Festival. The proceeds of the festival have assisted victims from the recent Altadena Fires in January 2025, assisted unhoused individuals, and hosted children's Christmas party.

The Día de San Juan Festival blends rich religious and cultural traditions, honoring Saint John the Baptist, the patron saint of Puerto Rico and namesake of its capital city, San Juan.
The celebration is known for:
